WELCOME TO ACADEMIC YEAR 2022-23

This June, the start of the school year was more overwhelming than ever before. We could observe the mixed feelings of excitement and joy among students at TIST. Children were escorted by their mother teachers and class teachers to their classrooms. All the standard safety procedures are observed as children entered the school building. School assembly was conducted where Dr. Kavita Bajpai addressed our students. Educators implemented new and innovative strategies to keep students engaged. Grade-wise welcome activities were done in respective classrooms.

TIST organized the World against Child Labour on 13th June 2022 where students from Grade 1-8 were briefed about child labour and the significance of this day. The children watched the movie ‘Stanley ka Dabba’ to get an awareness of child labour and the repercussions it has on children. Movie Appreciation sheets were then supplied to Grade 5-8 learners to write their reviews and what they learned from it. The learners from Grade 1-4 drew pictures and posters to depict their understanding of child labour.
