THE PREFECTORIAL BOARD OF TIST 2022-23

The International School of Thrissur, Chirakkakode Campus celebrated the 76th Independence Day and its first Investiture Ceremony on August 15th, 2022. The day was celebrated by all with zest and liveliness. The event began at 9:00 AM with the flag hoisting by the chief guest, Mr. MP Joseph IAS, the founder & CEO of the School Mr. Sanal Kumar, the director, and co-founder of the school, Dr. Kavita Bajpai, and vice principal, Mr. Prasad Nambiar followed by a salute to the national flag. The prefectorial board released of tricolor balloons and the national anthem was sung. The event was witnessed by all the parents and students present. The investiture ceremony was held in the school premises after the Independence Day Celebrations.

The members of the prefectorial board received their insignia- the school badges and sashes from the chief guest and other dignitaries. Salma Rahman, the School Captain received the sash and badge from Mr. MP Joseph, while Mia David, the Cultural Prefect, and Akul Ajay, the Sports Captain received their sashes from Dr. Kavita Bajpai. The House Captains Gayathri Benoy, Aarush Suresh Kumar, Varun V Tharakan, and John David representing Bengal Tiger, Asian Elephant, Rainforest Leopard, and NilgiriTahr respectively received their Sashes and Badges from Mr. Prasad. This was followed by the Oath taking of the Prefectorial Board Members. The audience and the students enjoyed the event and gave positive remarks about the same.
