The International School of Thrissur celebrated with full of joy and harmony at the school campus on  13 September 2024. The event began with a lamp-lighting ceremony led by Principal Mr. Sanu Joseph, creating an atmosphere of excitement among students and staff, all dressed in traditional attire. The celebration brought back all the good aspects of tradition, with vibrant and colorful festivities, highlighting Kerala's rich cultural heritage.

The celebrations featured a graceful Thiruvaathirakkali performance by the educators, beautifully illustrating the art form's elegance. Following this, the Principal delivered an inspiring message, emphasizing the values of unity and togetherness that Onam symbolizes. The festive spirit soared during the Inter-House Onam Paatu Competition, where students showcased their talents through traditional Malayalam songs, further enriching the celebration. Various games, including Pookalam, musical chairs, and Tug of War, kept the students engaged and entertained throughout the day.

The celebration concluded with a traditional Sadya feast, leaving participants with cherished memories. TIST’s Onam celebration fostered a strong sense of community, enriching the students' connection to their cultural roots.
