The International School of Thrissur (TIST), hosted TISTMUN Chapter II, a two-day Model United Nations conference that brought together young minds to engage in meaningful discussions on global issues, diplomacy, and leadership. 

The event was inaugurated at 10:00 AM on October 3 at the TIST campus, setting the stage for two days of insightful debate and collaboration. The inaugural ceremony featured a Presidential Address by Shri M P Joseph IAS (Retd.), Chairperson of TIST, who emphasized the importance of youth engagement in policy dialogue and global citizenship.

TISTMUN Chapter II became more special with the presence of distinguished guests. Mr. Venu Rajamony, Ambassador (Retd.) and Chairman of Future Kerala Mission, Jain University, Kochi, attended as the Chief Guest.

Mr. Arun Ezhuthachan noted writer, Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award winner, and Chief Reporter at Malayala Manorama, who inspired participants with insights on communication and leadership.

With thought-provoking agendas, committee sessions, and vibrant debates, TISTMUN Chapter II provided a platform for students to explore global issues and express their perspectives confidently. The conference reaffirmed TIST’s commitment to nurturing leadership, critical thinking, and global awareness among students.

As the two-day event concludes, participants leave with a renewed sense of purpose ready to explore, express, and excel in their journey as future leaders and changemakers.
